... red and yellow. But no, the color caught my eye first. The perfect shade of pink; not too light and not “stop you in your tracks” neon, but just right. The laundry situation is starting to look a little questionable; shirts are being sprayed with Febreeze and laid out to freshen and would it hurt to have an extra shirt? I’m pretty sure I can still fit one more shirt in my luggage. I cave. It really is a great t-shirt! ...

A first occurred for us at Little River Bridge, a mile before our destination. We were the solitary boat and were about 10 minutes past the bridge's normal hourly opening. Chris was getting a cold so it was probably a good plan for as to get the hotel because we pretty much spent the entire afternoon taking naps and watching football and playing videogames. We brought food from our van into the room and had a picnic of sorts. It was nice just spreading out and relaxing. Chris felt much better after getting some good sleep and I enjoyed the warmth. Overall I think it was a good ...

... before it started raining and we took advantage of their clean empty showers. We decided it wasn’t dark yet and we didn’t want to stay in the middle of nowhere so we said "Time to get the hell outta NC". We set a course for Myrtle Beach and went on our way. We haven’t seen very many farmers markets lately and have been lacking vegetables in our lives. We spotted a stand and pulled to the side of the road. The guy that helped us was less then useful ...
