Beautiful morning led practice at Artjuna. Coffee afterwards chatting with people. Talked with Sonja is a banker from London on a six month sabbatical. ... white people staying at the hotel. There are a lot of Russians, here, at Zuri. They have a bad rap with the locals who find them to be unsmiling (cannot disagree, here), without tact, and only interested in drinking, eating and shopping. The beach town, Morjiim, where we will be next week, is supposedly overrun with Russians. We have heard that, in the past, there have been tensions between them and the locals - it will be interesting to see if the rumors are true.

It's still possible to have a good time here however, the atmosphere was nice, the music good and the bars pretty cheap.
