... long stay tourist, it is a very easy going place to visit with young children. It is in no way hectic and the only real hazard is the usual cheek pinching which the children are getting used to, or least learning how to literally turn the other cheek. This is something that I have been looking forward to being able to but it feels very strange as I haven't gone many places without the kids in the last 3 years.

So we made it! We got here after a very ...

... more Indian food. We ordered tandoori potato- which for me was incredible; a perfectly boiled medium sized spud stuffed with a thick, very yellowy cream cheese, coriander and other herbs, it tasted great. Unfortunately that was the first thing I tried and the rest was fairly average. We had a mutton "rogan gosh" (that isn't a typo) and a chicken tikka masala. Both were ok, but not up to some of the great standards we had seen at other places.. I had been laying off the alcohol ...
