      ... to Minneapolis was rather uneventful, very long. The kids were extremely happy about the DVD player as they managed a couple of Harry Potter movies and the boys resignedly watched Georgia's mermaid princess one too!

      Unfortunately it took a lot longer to find our hotel than we had anticipated, always harder when you don't have a proper map. We were seriously rethinking not having data on our phones as we drove round trying to read the half ...

      ... deck it sounded similar to the ocean with little waves lapping at the rocks and shore. It didn't have quite the rhythm of the ocean, lovely sound though.

      Once everyone was dressed we headed out for a walk. The walk itself was just along a gravel road in front of the house but there were wild raspberries, many interesting fuzzy caterpillars and wild flowers along the way.

      ... wilderness area full of campsites and water trails in which canoeists travel for days and even weeks across. We met some a family if 3 generations just returning from a 4 day trip and another group of young men returning from a 10 day, 75 mile trip. I visited with a couple who work for local outfitters and, on their day off, were headed out to an island to pick blueberries.

      ... earned their keep today. I let the tire set for a few minutes after it was remounted and aired up. It then leaked down, so I was perplexed as to what was wrong, but soon found the valve core was not secured well. After fixing that issue it seemed to do fine, so I remounted the wheel to the trailer. At this point it is late in the day, I have no phone service, and I am well behind in my schedule so I decide to retreat to Grand Marais where I know they have a municipal campground ...
