... is comfortable with so-so food. The "motel" that we stayed in was clean, but horrid. Very small, uncomfortable bed, paper thin walls and a shower that you had better not have to bend over or turn around. Almost as disappointing was the show/cookout. Not cheap, but the food was served in warmer trays buffet style, and not very good. The show itself was fine. Would go there again if I was driving by, but not as a destination. Wish I had tried ...
After a quick lunch we began driving towards Phoenix. We stopped at Bedrock City which is in the town of Valle - if you google Bedrock City you will see images of the place. Someone with too much time and too much land has built a life size replica of the Flintstones town of Bedrock. It was really big and really well done.
We continued on South towards Phoenix stopping in the quaint town ...
... stopped by to see Suzanne Sharer and surprised her with lunch from Olive Garden. Both are very nice ladies and it was great to see them both again. Afterwards back up the 101 to the resort for a final evening of dinner and a few drinks before turning in later tonight and getting ready to head to the airport tomorrow morning.
