    Mickey didn't make it to the groomer. We had to leave before she had an opening. He seems fine just pink. We got set up in the park in a premier site 115 on the river, but no view of it. It's very spacious and has a lot of amenities like a pool, bocche ball court, and fitness center which we have to start using. Ellis' had plans last night so went to the Fort McDowell casino, Native American owned. We had gotten a discounted crab buffet dinner from the rv park so even though ...

    ... to speak it was a unanimous decision NOT for anyone else to shower in the amenities block tonight. The water was "tepid" brrrrrrrr.and I washed my hair. Dried it under the hand dryer.warmest thing in the amenities!!!!!!!! Pizza for tea , a few wild turkeys and we r relaxed. More tomorrow as we head for Monument Valley Utah.

    14th: Hiking the Grand Canyon. We had to leave camp by 5.30am this morning to be able to complete one of the walks before the sun gets too hot. The expected temperature is 104 F at the bottom, the lower you go the warmer it gets. We have elected to do the hike to Cedar Creek which is a 3 mile round trip.     ... stopped by to see Suzanne Sharer and surprised her with lunch from Olive Garden. Both are very nice ladies and it was great to see them both again. Afterwards back up the 101 to the resort for a final evening of dinner and a few drinks before turning in later tonight and getting ready to head to the airport tomorrow morning.
