      Disappointment

The management has no system, everyone is all over at the counter demanding service. The resort food was not enough, nothing special and very expensive. The pool area was great but it was congested. The beach is dirty with a lot of trash. The lodging is spacious but aircon is weak. The housekeeping has great service. Our check out service took us more than 2 hours. Very disappointing for a balikbayan.

I signed up with Travel factor tour group to climb Mt Pico de Loro originally on June 12, 2014 but due to bad weather it was re scheduled. Signing up in this climb was a major step for me as this will write off my bucket list to do something with strangers. June 28 was THE DAY. The weather forecast says it is going to be a rainy day. Thus, I was totally geared up for one tough climb. This was not my first time to climb ...

... to the reception and asked for a bandaid. They look over the bench and see this small pool of blood forming and freak out. The whole thing was pretty funny actually and although they wanted to bandage it I won the argument and got my bandaid. Should've gone for the bandage though - it would've looked much more impressive. Back to the present... We made anchor and had a few drinks on the boat and had a bit of a tan. After a while my uncle, so clever, thought the storm clouds were getting ...

... It is a bit scary. The last few stops were the Japanese cemetary and war memorial that gave tribute to all of the wars from the start of Philipines in the 1500s when the Spanish invaded up until now. The Japanese cemetary had an intersting story as it was lost over time and someone found a newspaper article of the island with the picture of the cemetary in the background, so they found the cemetary in 1985, dug up the graves, cremated the bodies ...

Just finished packing and I'm so happy and nervous for my flight tomorrow. I'm currently talking to Marina, one of the girls I'll be living with in Campinas, to finalize some of my questions. At first I was so scared just thinking about traveling alone but it slowly faded away when I saw how all of my friends are so excited for ...

Nagtayo kami ng tent and spent the whole night. It was a peaceful and romantic night for me, at ang sarap bumalik ng maraming beses.
