The hotel was only about 4 months old, very modern and fresh. We had a hot water shower and a TV with only 1 English channel on, a religious channel....great! So we had that and the Mosque next door. I knew we would be getting a 5.15 am wake up call daily!

We ate at Turret Cafe on our first night, the Beef Rendang was lovely,it's a speciality here. The owner was really lovely as were the staff.Their English was excellent ...
