Keep Your Luv Alive @ Caesars
My husband & I have been going to the 4 Caesars' resorts repeatedly for years (except Brookdale--which we went to once, 'cuz we're getting AWAY from the kids!) The resorts are MEANT and MADE for lovers. If you enjoy and crave a sweet, romantic atmosphere & truly love the one you're with--you HAVE to love Casears. I read a few of the reviews on here & it sounds like a few folks need more than a weekend away to put the spark back! For the rest of us, who love love, you will have the TIME OF YOUR LIFE when you visit. The service is terrific, from checkin to the wonderful breakfast in bed (how great, we can relax snuggled up & have someone bring our coffee hot and fresh!)to the rooms--ahh, the rooms. We have been in most of them, our faves are the Apples & the Champagne Towers but the great thing @ Caesars is they are always reinventing themselves with NEW rooms (we're trying the Diana's Oasis this Sunday, I'll be back after to fill you guys in!) The rooms are spotlessly clean, butif you DID have a problem, the staff is super accomodating! The lounges are all great for a yummy drink or just mingling (we have a hard time getting out of the rooms sometimes, so we just go mingle!) The dinners aren't 4 star food, but they're included, so try em. Some stays we just skip dinner & order a fruit and cheese platter from room service to nosh on. We have sent many friends here who all love it. Ladies, I dont care how long you're married, pack some lingerie & take care of yourself by keeping fit & you can keep the man of your dreams happy forever--just brng him to Caesars!! sameto you guys out there!! Pack the silk boxers and romance her--Caesar's is the BEST place to do it, right.
My husband and I drove 13 hours to Paradise Stream for a romantic vacation. I am married to a man who can make the best of any situation. Even my wonderful husband could not make Paradise stream habitable. The physical ammenities advertised are there. But the unsanitary, slimey, smoky environment are not mentioned in the brochures. If you are looking for a clean, fresh room please do not waist your time. If you are seeking an appropriate back drop for a porno movie...quickly book your room at Paradise Stream, you wont be dissappointed. ( Luckily, the Crowne Plaza, Times Square isn't far away.)
We had a blast!
We had a wonderful time. That's were me and my husband went for our honeymoon in 1995. Now almost 9yrs later were thinking about spending Valentines Day there. You will have fun.
Upon arrival it looks cheesy, the lobby and bars have the typical 80's Atlantic City Casino look to them. Service is excellent, they let us check in 1 hour early and check out two hours late. We stayed in the Adam Eve Apple Suite, bring CD's you'll enjoy the BOSE Soundsystem pumping music through out the Suite. The hot water runs out when you filling up the Hot Tub so you have to fill it in increments, and they charge you for movies, and no, they have no adult films, so bring your own if your into that kinda thing. Dinner is nice, you will be seated with other guests unless you ask to be seated alone. When ordering breakfast in bed put numbers next to the items for quantity, the orange juice comes in containers that are suitable only for the 2nd grade lunch room so its best to order three or four. There are many activities to do around the resort, we went in the dead of winter so the extent of our outdoor activity was the walk from the suite to the restaurant for dinner. If you are looking for a one or two night getaway this is the place to go, any longer than that it will become too pricey and you'd wish you had just gone to the islands instead!A^2
Best of the best in the pocs
My husband and I have been going to these resorts for 17 years now. We love" the stream "as we fondly call it. Great atmosphere, first rate food,& entertainment . If you and your honey can't get romantic here you are DEAD! .All have loved it as much as we do. Try it you'llWe have tried almost all the rooms here and we love "the apple". However since becoming forever lovers many years ago (this is designed to give special privleges to repeat guests)we have been upgraded many times so now we book cheaper and hope for an upgrade! We have been to all four resorts, even Brookdale which I wouldn"t suggest unless you are vacationing with children as we did.(Let's face it if I wanted to have peas thrown at me I'd stay home with my own kids)The couple resorts are great and we have sent many of our friends there over the years. All have loved it as we do. Try it you"ll love it!
I stayed in the hotel with my husband. It was terrible. We had a horrible time. All pools were closed, due to "cleaning" and the private pools I would never touch! They are dirty with bodily fluids splashed over them. It was a nightmare.
Smoking is allowed everywhere, even in the dining room, nightclub, lobby, and indoor pool area! There is not even the courtesy of a non smoking section! You can reserve a non smoking room, but you'll have to stay in there or outside all day if you don't enjoy breathing in second hand smoke. I would like to see the hotel rethink its smoking policies and move up to the present century. There's a large group of consumers who want and need a healthy breathing environment.
The GREATEST experience
This resort was more than we ever expected. My husband and I went here for our 5th anniversary last year. We had the cottages by the lake and they were GREAT. The service was excellent. And when they say "all inclusive", they mean "ALL inclusive." They gave us a bottle of champaigne when we checked in, AND a waiter flagged down my husband to give him back the tip he left on the table. See, even though it was all inclusive, we still thought we should tip. Oh NO. The waiter came running up behind my husband and told him he forgot his money on the table. My husband told him it was the tip, and the waiter said "Oh, no, sir. It's all inclusive. You don't leave a tip." SO COOL! The breakfast in bed was included and they were always on time and they gave you a quick courtesy call before they showed up. ALSO, they were SO quick to fix any problems. Even if they were the guest's fault. My husband and I put some bubble bath into the jacuzzi tub (BY THE WAY - DON'T DO THIS!), and bubbles just overflowed into the bathroom and the rest of the room. They were there within 10 minutes of us calling and cleaned up the room until it was spotless. They dried everything and even gave us coupons to use in the bar while they were cleaning it. All the employees were pleasant and helpful. Plus, there was SO much to do. Mini-golf, the nightly parties, the fun afternoon activities that you could win prizes for, snow-mobiling (we were too early to enjoy this, but they had the snow-mobiles right there), skeet shooting (you had to pay for your ammo), archery, game room, pool, hot-tub, rental movies. And it was all FREE! Great time, and, other than the two days we went shopping, we never spent any money! We are planning on going back next year!
True Pocono Honeymoon
Some of us get all dreamy when we think of sinking into an in-room jacuzzi-for-two with the spouse. So dreamy that we don't mind spending big bucks for an all-inclusive honeymoon resort in the Poconos of Pennsylvania -- at one time, a more popular honeymoon spot than even Niagara Falls. Of the few Poconos honeymoon resorts still open, Caesar's does "the Pocono Honeymoon" best. The grounds at Paradise Stream are not interesting or romantic (for romantic grounds, stay at The Summit in Tannersville, PA -- definitely run-down but marvelous staff and beautiful landscaping). But all four Poconos Caesar's -- Paradise Stream, Cove Haven, Brookdale, and Pocono Palace -- offer enthusiastic staff, fun activities several times a day, pretty good food, live entertainment nightly, staff photographers day and night, two complete all-you-can-eat meals every day (you won't leave hungry), and rooms to match the honeymoon fantasy. If you want plenty of alone-time with your lover plus ample opportunity to socialize with other couples, choose the room of your dreams (there are several different room types) and enjoy yourself at Caesars! Warning: Brookdale allows children, so don't choose Brookdale for a romantic getaway. The four Caesar's Pocono Resorts are now owned by Starwood Resorts, so you can earn Starwood Points at your romantic getaway! If you are not hopelessly romantic, Caesar's Poconos are not for you, as you will grow quickly bored of the sexual puns and innuendos. The best jacuzzi at Paradise Stream is the one in the activities center -- it easily holds six adults, and it has its own mini waterfall (the water temperature was a little too warm for my spouse, but I found it extremely pleasant and relaxing -- and most of the time we had the whole activities center all to ourselves). We even had miniature golf (one course indoors, two courses outdoors) to ourselves. The basketballs in the activities center and the tires on the bicycles need more air, but the staff will hunt up a bicycle pump if you ask at the gift shop between 11 AM and 4 PM. I had one big pet peeve -- the fitness center's machines are in need of repair.
You'll Fall in Love All Over Again!
This place is HEAVEN! My husband and I go every chance we get and it is the most relaxing resort on earth. We always get the Garden of Eden Apple room. It's pricey, but your own private pool and the jacuzzi in the room are the epitome of relaxation and romance. The food is also wonderful, and breakfast and dinner are included in the price, making the total cost not as "painful". Only downfall is that the meals are all group seating. If you want to dine alone as a couple you have to ask for special permission, and the seating hostess usually makes it seem like you're asking for the moon just because you don't want to sit with 8 strangers on your romantic vacation. All in all it is definitely the best place to go for romance and solitude. It is definitely a splurge, but with 4 kids, a dog, a cat a busy jobs back home, it is the ultimate romantic vacation that is guaranteed to keep the romance alive. You'll fall in love all over again every time you stay.

Don Laine Campground was one of the nicest campgrounds we have been in since we left Roseville California. It was in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania just north of Allentown. The campground was situated on the top of a hill and you could see the all the hills below us and they were in full fall color. This was a terrific campground. Because we had a nice dock to work with, we had a moderately quick load in. I was done with my screens by about 3:30. Afterwards I went ahead with getting my camera set up. Due to an awkward position, I had a heck of a time with my back when the show was over. The camera was set to where the tripod was elevated to its highest point. With a short platform and a short seat there was no room for me ...
