      ... apparently a huge improvement on the original dusty narrow road but devoid of any green- total dead scrub and cactus the whole way.       ... right before sunset. Maddie* was showing us a picture she just took of Claire* and I when Claire* yelled "What was that?! LOOK!" We saw what looked like whale spouts in the far distance but the spouts were everywhere! The boat was sailing right toward them.
