I'm Ghana Party
Hello Everyone!
I have spent the last 5 days in the amazing country of Ghana. Before I get into my time there, I had 9 days at sea crossing the Atlantic Ocean the first two of which were on the Amazon River. We sailed just north of the Equator all the way to Africa. The seas were surprisingly smooth during the crossing. A few great events …

Dixcove and Butre
A couple of weeks ago our friend Steve, aka SAS Steve, visited us in Ghana. Probably our one and only visitor...
He spent a few days first up in the north at Mole National Park. Whilst he enjoyed the "cheapest safari in the world" he was in need of some relaxation after 5 hour delayed bus journies, a 24 hour flight delay and a hotel that sounded like the one in Fawlty Towers, but a whole less efficient. So, we decided to spend a week on a road trip down the coast. ...
Busua and Beyond

Easter Utopia
This past Easter Weekend I embarked on an epic journey to a secret, isolated and uninhabited beach on the west coast of Ghana. I had no idea where I was going, how I would get there and if I would even make it back alive. Carrying only the essentials on my back (pillow, lip balm and tweezers), I braced myself for three days and nights of utopia.
My companions came from all over; Ireland, England, Germany, New Zealand, Italy, USA, Mexico and Brazil. We ...
