We arrived at Siesta Key and decided to park up and have a drink while we pondered the accommodation options. Top of the list came the Tropical Breeze resort, a collection of little chalet style housed sprawled over a few blocks. They looked very nice and were fairly cheap. So, we finished our drinks, booked a room on my phone, and drove the hundred yards or so to ...

    Day 1 travel to Alaska
The day has finally arrived! We are all very excited to go to this beatiful state and escape the heat for a little while. It was a beautiful place for the sunset, and we stumbled across a circle, with dancing, and drums, when we realised it was the summer solstice celebration going on with all sorts of spiritual things happening. The next morning we woke up very excited for the day as we would be heading off to the Tropicana Field Stadium, to see ...

... with a black raspberry danish from the bakery which rivaled any danish I had ever eaten.
    - Mediterraneo - at this contemporary Italian ristorante I enjoyed a wood fired olive oil and rosemary focaccia flatbread, gnocchi with pancetta in a four cheese cream sauce and a profiterole for dessert. The flatbread was perfectly crispy and chewy at the same time, the gnocchi were a great consistency and the profiterole was warm, light and fluffy with a rich ...
