... back and enjoy the cool breeze coming off the 50 degree river.
On our way out of OK we saw lots of wind farms. We passed a plant that makes wind turbines. At a truck stop we saw a complete wind turbine on trucks headed for assembly.

Peacocks fanning out frequently. Even a pure white one, which we've never seen before.
Nature trail through the woods; not enough time to walk this.
... delicious for breakfast.
Bread basket has "nibblers" of the different breads--so good.
Philly cheesesteak on asaigo cheese bread, fantastic;
chicken salad sandwich on woodstock bread and potato bacon soup, very good.
Couldn't resist their homemade desserts--good chocolate gnash cake; hard to believe they were out of bread pudding.

Mountain Home - 2013 blog entry
Our second day in Mountain Home began with us having the rare opportunity to sleep in. We're both getting better at waking up early (when John was working all those years in coffeehouses, he was getting up at least a couple of hours earlier than now) but it felt so good to sleep until sun was streaming in our windows. I guess John had a heart attack about that and thought ...
... of things, but oh well…we’ll take what we can get!
We actually had a movie night tonight…we’ve been holding onto a Netflix movie, Winter’s Bone, for a few weeks now and finally had a chance to watch it. While it wasn’t a feel good movie by any means, we both really enjoyed it. It was almost 1am by the time we finished it, so we crawled into bed and slept until 8:30am.
