    It was raining when we awoke this morning in Hazard Kentucky at the Hampton Inn so we were pleased to have a rest day to do laundry, repair bikes and just relax a bit before heading into the hills once again.     We are beginning to ride in the Appalachian Mountains. On the older roads the grades run up to 17 % while the state highway routes are gentler, but longer as they climb and fall along the topography of Eastern Kentucky.     ... 8217;ve been living in disarray for quite some time. The wife was thrilled to see paint on the walls after two years of bare drywall.

    Our wonderful leaders, Mark Kelly and Vicky Castina, have been very patient with our group, whether it’s teaching us how to apply mud or caulk, paint and roller walls, or stopping paint fights.
