      We spent the day at Universal Studios and it was great fun. Even though the schools in US are all back, there was a constant flow and queues to contend with. We tried as much as we could and it was great - alot of firsts with the rides and Phoebe and Lauren had their first rollercoaster ride! Exciting!       ... was take away food but serving decent meals at reasonable prices. We chose ribs, mash and veg. Yum! It was actually really nice. Although, they had to make it unhealthy somehow, it's America. The veg was covered in salt! We didn't eat much of that. Thankfully it wasn't burger, chips or hot dog though!

      ... checked that we wanted spicy not medium we started to work how hot it might be. We needn't have bothered, we've had spicier spaghetti bolognese! When Ni asked for some green chillies they didn't have any...what Indian restaurant doesn't have chillies! Anyway, the food was nice enough and after eating we returned to our room to plan our days at the theme parks.

      ... the privilege, so just got a bus to a mall somewhere in the middle of nowhere, walked round M&M World for a bit, and bought something slightly more respectable than a stained torn vest to return home in.
