      After 31 days, 5500km, and 13 different stops, we'd finally arrived in Broome - our home for the next 3 weeks. We unpacked the Eagle, and moved everything inside the unit at Broome Beach Resort, before walking over the sand dunes to see the Indian ocean.

      ... hills. We would have loved to explore the gorges but time was not on our side. Plus the scramble down was reported to be a bit tough (we later heard from Andrew and Julia that it was no big deal and their kids gripped it up). In particular, the spider walk to Kermit Pool scared us off as spider walking purportedly involved both arms and both legs being braced on either side of the gorge walls in order ...

      ... the road beckons. Things we did : - Malcolm Douglass crocodile park - salties, freshies, dingoes, alligators - awesome. - drove on cable beach and enjoyed cocktail hour watching the sun set with the camel trains in the foreground. - saw dinosaur footprints at Gantheume Point - not sketchy little indentations either - unmistakable prints...very cool. - checked out the China Town. - avoided every pearl shop. - ate, drank, swam. - had a date night - the boys loved their ...

      ... climbing down the cliffs.We found what we thought was the pool but it looked different to photos we had seen as there where 3 large rocks in it. We asked someone from the group of jumpers and they said the pool was damaged and the rocks dumped in there in the last cyclone.
      Back then for a swim ourselves at Cable Beach, hired a couple of body boards and caught a few waves.
