    After 31 days, 5500km, and 13 different stops, we'd finally arrived in Broome - our home for the next 3 weeks. We unpacked the Eagle, and moved everything inside the unit at Broome Beach Resort, before walking over the sand dunes to see the Indian ocean.

    Nice early start this morning, 7.15am pick up for our tour to Cape Leveque, which is 220 klms north of Broome, the road is unsealed for 90klms, is very corrugated and sandy and almost like travelling in a half pipe, we passed through a lot of burnt out area as fires have been burning for the last three days, mainly on the one property.     ... lots of sunshine. You can hire lounge, chairs, umbrellas & boards & surprisingly it's very reasonable. It is a patrolled beach & the only worry is that you have to keep an eye out for jelly fish. Josh blitzed on the surf board & was catching waves all day whilst Cass, Mick & I flew in on the boogie boards. Not being a strong swimmer, I never remember doing this as a kid but I felt like a 10 year old again catching those waves in!!! Home for a late lunch & ...
