          ... by Lake Michigan on the other side to the one we came on. We stopped briefly at a rest stop and had a snack of popcorn. We had had breakfast at hotel but not a lot. We carried on until about 1.30pm when we stopped at a roadside cafe called Seasons Cafe. It was busy so obviously popular which is always a good omen. They did pasties.           ... ago. When we picked her up she smelled a bit like a horse- so a shower was in short order. Elena was able to finish sewingI all the blocks together for the top of her quilt. She is very proud of herself and should be. Yesterday I layered the quilt top, batting, and quilt bottom together so we can begin hand tieing it together.           ... s Quarters bookends the old Fort Winnebago. Again a great history stop, highly recommended. The canal connecting the two drainages runs right along side it. It opened with such great hopes in 1876, but superseded by both the Illinois/Michigan canal and railroads it never reached its full potential. Today it lies closed and stagnant.

From Sturgeon Bay to Carlsville, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay, Ellison Bay, and at the tip of the peninsula- Gill's Point. Robin and Steve were our personal tour guides.
