... sailing off the tube more times than you could count. My body hurt for them! Fishing trip in the late morning landed nothing. Starting to wonder if there are fish in this lake! It was warm and sunny all day. Surprise.... No trips to the store today! The little ones took up a mean game of badminton in the afternoon. Katie and McKenna are packing to leave bright and early ...

Most days begin and end with island music playing over the speakers inside and out. Never get tired of it. Breakfast has turned to brunch now. Most of us are out walking or running the island every morning as soon as we get up. Nice way to start the day. Opted for a Pontoon boat ride late morning. McKenna was our captain. ... bit and it reminds me of VT/ME. Campground is small and not many people staying here. It is definitely much more secluded here and I know we'll have a good quiet night here. There was a concert here tonight and for those of you who watch the VOICE, he was a finalist on the VOICE in 2013.....Jared Blake. He's a great country/western singer and him/his band performed for over 2 hours. It was great. We had a great ...

      Windshield Genocide

Windshields and bugs don't get along. It's a war that has raged on for decades, but even though there have been millions of battles, the bug rarely, if ever wins. Normally I root for the underdog, but in this case the only thing I feel bad for is in fact the windshield itself as it's clarity is slowly affected by the hits. Well, the windshield and the ...
