... before the coach groups to witness the Ayers Rock sunrise. We saw amazing colour changes as the sun came up, only as soon as the sun came so did the flies! Then we completed the Mala walk which took us right up to rock face, passing aboriginal art carved in to the base of the rock along the way. ... rather bad day weather wise to visit, but that didn't matter.

I went for a nice leisurely stroll along the beach and found a spot to eat my lunch, as I was walking I was keeping a very hopeful eye out for penguins as apparently many little penguins reside there.
