... Then we drove north for a bit to look at some of the beaches we had passed on the way down. Oh no ! There were some beautiful ones and some had parks right on the waters edge. So we just visited the day area and made some enquires to the parks, we could be back ! Then there was the chocolate factory, I considered this to be a gem because you could go right into the factory area and watch them ...
... some more remarkable peoples and remote regions we would like to visit - and hopefully will: Svarlbad (north of Norway), Thule (far northern Greenland), Hudson Bay and the Northwest Territories (Canada), and Tierra del Fuego (South America). But, Australia is still Home, and Home is where all that we miss while we are away is found: family, friends, the 'Bush', the beaches and the GAFA.

... and the and entry fees paid for Ironman Port Elizabeth. Oh, and how convenient that the Cape Town Two Ultra Oceans Marathon was the following fortnight.

So soon we head ...
... sort out the sleeping bags. The huntsman spiders move really quickly and Garry was on watch. The spider was still for a long time but when Garry moved it would race really quickly towards him before stopping when he did, Garry had made a new friend. We got the tent down and packed away safely and drove up to the petrol station where we parked up to take a shower in the adjoining restaurants bathrooms. There was a two dollar charge which was worth every warm water cent! K x x ...
... Not much happening on the waterfront at night so we just headed back to the apartment.
We set the alarm for a 6am to ensure we could get down the beach to watch the sunrise. Surfers were already out and as the sun began to rise it was a great view over the water with the surfers on the waves. Well worth getting up for.
Coffs was a great stopover but I don't think there is much else to stop for there.
