... tea and 'check for spiders with a broom and dustpan gate' I retired to our comfy bed and very much enjoyed my slumber. This morning I had a Skype date with my Dad - so lovely to see him beaming away. I do miss him, we had a lovely face time with Mum last night too - I even gave her style advice all the way from Aus to Hartley Wintney - they had a family wedding yesterday which we were obviously sad to miss. We are now on our way to Port Macquarie via Timber town where they have a steam ...

This warm-temperate rainforest contains coachwood, crabapple and sassafras trees leading to Coachwood Falls and blackbutt, tallowwood and brushbox trees soaring 30metres on Blackbutt track. The paths cross Endiandra, Sassafras and Rosewood Creeks. We then went to a free camp, Roses Park Camp, between Dorrigo and ...

... night. That $20 a nit, a bit rich but we could live with that until you find out that your car is $7 per entry a well, so basically per day... WTF!!! excuse me. Drop toilets 500m from the van no hot water/showers etc and you want $27 a day from me.... I don't think so.
We found a Caravan Park in Ballina for $22.50 a night with toilets and hot showers. Now that's not what we wanted to really do, but hey! we are also not stupid. SEE YA RED ...

... losing faith in the fact that I would meet people to travel with! It was a beautiful part of the country with vineyards as far as the eye could see, but when the couple went out for the afternoon I was alone! I quickly decided to cancel my second night and leave the next afternoon to head up the coast. The next afternoon, however, after going out with Flo and Michelle to do some wine tasting we arrived back at the hostel ...
