      We arrived at Don Mueang the old Bangkok airport 4 and a half hours later, got the free shuttle bus to Suvarnabhumi airport where we got the bus to Pattaya. As our usual bus was full and we would have had to wait for almost 2 hours we took another company slightly more expensive but that would take us to the bus station in Pattaya and from there to our apartment by mini van.       ... it was becoming impossible, this Russian had the driver going round in circles, two English lads on board who were staying in Walking Street, soon as we dropped one Russian couple off I jumped out and caught a moped taxi to Sunshine on Soi 8....       ... boardwalks there was shopping aplenty. The food available was also great. And just as we were laving we got to hand feed a baby elephant, the highlight of our time in Pattaya as Will was hoping to do this in Bangkok like i did last time i was here, so he thought he had missed out.       ... hotel in the first place. He showed me back there... and it was only the one with the stupid pot outside wasn't it!!

      So all in all I managed to be lost for over 3 hours, searching for a place I had been to once. The moral of the story is when you can't find your hotel late at night in a huge fort, seek a young person, they are usually more happy to help. Or just pick up a business card on your way out, or your ROOM KEY!

      ... you need to spend or get a top of the range folder for a 16" wheel to be good ie Brompton. Also when i had a first ride of the 20" wheel folder ( Mustang in white ) it did feel wobbly and you need a little time to get used it. Now i am used to it and it feels like a normal bicycle i am pretty amazed and with 7 gears its fast and ok for the hills. From my testing in Thailand i would sya a 1 hr to 1 1/2 hr ride is comfortable but ...
