... compared to all the reef dives that I had done up to that point but it was pretty crazy to descend not being able to see evidence of all that much and then all of a sudden be staring at a huge ship underwater! This ship was sunk on purpose 14 years ago to create a divesite and it was so interesting to see how the fish and corals have taken it over in that time. Nature certainly does have a way of reclaiming things if given enough time. All in all, I ended ...

The last to board is an older surfer dude with a bandana and shoulder length blonde hair, maybe 35 or 40. With him is a young Filipina. Now that's unusual. ... 3 hour snorkel trip and as the weather was a bit up and down thought I'd save my money plus to dive with sharks, you had to be up at 04.30 the two legged sharks in the dive shops are bad enough and I don't have to get up early to see them. Met quite a few nice people, if you want to have a cold and quiet holiday right now, go to Sweden they are all in the Philippines, thousands of them. Heading back tomorrow to Cebu city so will catch you all again ...

All in all the Philippines was once again a trip that opened my eyes to many new experiences, ways of living and perspectives. Like I always say it is the people you meet and the people you share your experiences with that make the trip......... and life for that matter! I think I will always remember my destinations for WHO I was with at the time, not specifically the WHERE I was!
