      ... he could get us a room for our budget of 10. So off we went and we followed him to 3 hotels in a row, when he asked if they had rooms, they said yes. They'd show us said rooms and quote double our budget. Clearly we'd be better on our own as the tout didn't have a clue.       ... plenty of bars and most have enough people around for them not to be dead but it's not particularly rawkus, there aren't groups of young people around or anything. This is perhaps a good thing though, even though it offers a lot of what many other resorts do it has yet to degenerate into a Phi Phi or Phuket style atmosphere. Hopefully it never will.       ... steel, dining tables, kitchens and chairs etc etc etc. Many of the additional 'extras' are there to serve the regularly visiting relatives but overall, these vast empty spaces have been built to impress.       ... It was really something, as you could see much wider and further back, notwithstanding a small lake, wedged up high on the north-eastern horizon! After enjoying the views for a while, we walked down thro’ the terraces to below them, where really stunning views of the whole panorama views could be appreciated from a lower perspective.
