          ... Will catching 5, Joe reakons he lost count!! And I got 3. (Indonesian Snapper and 1 sweat lip) So guess what we are having for tea tonight and many nights to come. Beautiful!! And a great day enjoyed by all.

          Sat 23rd
          Went to the market on the esplanade today, some great stalls but it really was just a beautiful morning to stroll along the beach and enjoy our final day at Airlie Beach.

          ... a 'delayed' honeymoon and we were thrilled when early evening on our first day the hotel management sent up a complimentary bottle of Champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for us to enjoy!! We were keen to make sure we got as much out of the week as possible so we spent some time with the tour specialist trying to make up our minds which trips to book.           Our first full day in Airlie is a relaxing one as we did a long drive the day before. We head into town with our swimmers on straight to the lagoon. The lagoon is a man-made swimming area but it's deeper than the one in Cairns and there seem to be less people which is nice! Me and Mum find a spot under a palm tree and laze and read whilst Terry uses his internal compass to find the nearest music store to have a strum of some guitars.
