There was also a stray cat passing through the yard but he had to stay inside in case he got too close and the cat got the better of him. No need to be fixing claw marks on his nose.

The waves here were on the small side, likely because the water is shallow and the beach slopes very gently, not allowing large waves to build. I would guess it was close to 100 yards off shore before it started to get very deep. The water looked a bit brownish out to about this distance ...

After the start/finish line, we got to tour the winner’s circle and get our pictures taken on the podium. We then went to the infield area and got to tour the driver’s briefing room. The temperatures steadily increased with the miles driven. By 4pm we had
removed our clothing (outer only) to enjoy the sun and 65F in Butler, PA.
Our first night stopover was in Morganstown, WV, home off the Mountaineers, at our favorite camping - Walmart!. It's close to shopping, food, and the price is right. Bought a few groceries, cooked up a little dinner and off to ...
