Bryce locked our stuff up and we walked about 3 minutes to some stairs leading down. We got to the bottom and saw the cavern we would be swimming in. it was very neat. We got our snorkel gear and life jackets and headed in by couples. Our guide, Carlos was explaining how the rocks were made and that the stalactites grew 1 inch every 70 years. He ...

... one of the new 7 wonders of the world. And now I have been to 5 out of the 7 new wonders of the world :) We walked around and our guide showed us the clever acoustics in the ball court. We also stopped infront of the staircase of El Castillo and if you clap your hands, the echo will resemble the chirp of a quetzal. We had lunch at one of the cafés and then we were once again back in the bus heading to our last stop ...
