      ... were that we managed to drink 6-8 beers everyday. We did get time on the beach to chill. I read 2 and a half books. Kev watched a lot of You-Tube videos and we found an awesome little place to eat. The food was great and cheap.

      We have now left Playa del Carmen to go onto Chichen Itza and I have hopefully learnt to read reviews. But come what may this is our journey. We are bound to make mistakes. It's what we learn during the stay that make us wiser along the way.

      Over our days here, we enjoyed walking up and down the very touristic 5th Avenue, looking at all the shops, eating in a couple restaurants, and taking in the tourist scene of Playa del Carmen. It was interesting to see a Chabad house and lots of Hebrew writing on restaurant menus. We've noticed throughout our trip that Israelis travel everywhere. It wasn't as surprising to see them in Europe because it's so close to Israel, but we were ...

      ... down the road from where the colectivo dropped us off, and we reached a gorgeous beach full of people. We grabbed our snorkels and went into the water. We saw so many turtles, fish, squid and even a sting ray. All these animals were just a little bit off the shore, and despite so many people swimming around them, they were very calm and happy for us to stare at them as they went about their every day aquatic life.       ... street. This has to be the party Mecca of the world! And the beach is equally
      as awesome! This place is a must for a trip to Mexico… I am so glad I did not skip

      B&B Pool
      Vuh – cool cabaņas steps from the beach and main drag. Recommended.

      ... walk it started to rain so we hailed a taxi, which would be easier for us than trying to find it. The taxi took us to Walmart, we went in, there were lockers out near the trolleys to put all our stuff in, but there were no locks on them and it was guarded by a really old man.
