    Sun, aguachiles and octopuses!

    ... to the beach and everybody else from the Raza en Playa whatsapp group was there enjoying the sun and the sea. We basked in the sun, read, chat, swim.

    We went to have lunch to Los Aguachiles. They had delicious food, we try the figurines (lettuce tacos), a full grilled octopus, aguachiles, tostadas and Huesos even tried a good mezcal from Oaxaca. It was a great lunch.

    ... The uneven ground made running awkward so as we ran I said to Stuie "be careful you don't roll your ankle or worse because I have know idea where you'll get treatment around here."     Lonely Planet says that Playa Del Carmen corrects nearly every mistake of Cancun's Zona Hotelera and I'd have to agree. Certainly not a place for the backpackers budget, but a fun finale to my time in Yucatán. Playa Del Carmen is still a very busy resort town, but with less all inclusive resort hotels, a broad avenue filled with restaurants and bars and some lovely beaches, it's a fun place to spend a few ...
