      ... to a local cenotes. Cenotes - underground rivers - make excellent swimming pools and nearby Gran Cenotes was particularly brilliant. This time we hired snorkelling gear as you can see all the way to the bottom of the cave. It feels like you're floating over another world when you look down.       ... Ramon" who seems to have taken a liking to joking around with Adam. We now seek his area because he is so kind and friendly.

      The 'Water and Fire' show at the pool this evening was not exciting or entertaining enough to keep us up. We tried but were done earlier than usual......asleep by 10.

      Today will no doubt be one of the most memorable days of our trip! We'll look forward to seeing pictures from the kids' waterproof ...

      ... trees with stringy Angkor-Waht-looking things
      hanging from them (sorry I don't know how else to describe them), 1
      cenote (pool of water in underground cave) and these strange animals
      that looked like a mix of a rat with a squirrel and a bunny and they
      were huge. Also, they had an ice-cream parlour and tea time every
      afternoon that served cookies and coffee with whisky...need I say
