    ... at the memorial. I am so glad I stopped. I met a nice local policeman (I'm not telling HOW), and got an escort to the memorial. Thanks again, officer!

    This resort is another one with a beautiful pool (and another one available to us through Resort Parks International).
    We went into Hermann, toured the Stone Hill Winery, the Hermann Wurst Shoppe, stopped in a Brewery (for Greg, of course), and then had a bite of BBQ. A good day, despite the oppressive heat (which seems to be the theme of this summer's travels!)

    6:30 am start hopefully to beat the wind and any storms coming through later. Glad to see the last of Oklahoma. Stopped in Rolla, MO. So far we've missed the rain. The concrete sections continued beyond Nilwood including a spot where there are turkey tracks made while the concrete was still setting.
