... area I feel very bad for them it is obvious that the economy has really suffered lots of closed restaurants and shops. Another note they don't understand that garbage belongs in the cans we were very surprised to see a lot of garbage along the sides of the roads there were also lots of garbage cans so not sure why they don't use them. Our first stop was the phone store we purchased a bohemian phone and data plan so we can call and use data ...

... hoisted the main at the start of the exit channel and we were set to go. Winds a bit light.
Plan was to head south a little first to make the crossing easier. Gulf stram starts about 6nm out so we tried to use the counter current to get some southing but the wind angle was wrong to do it. We tried for a while then gave up and folowed the rhum line to bimini. Rhum line is just the straight course to you destination. Unfortunatly nothing to do ...

It was so neat to hear this the first three times...but there must have been several Princess Cruise Liners leaving port one after another. After hearing the theme song three times in a row for 5 vessels it's not so cute anymore.  The wave forecast had been optimistic at best. I think the seas were much more ...

... David and Vicki were there so we were sure to have a great trip.

Our trip in May didn't begin so well. TSA!!! Wow. Sherri, who exercises daily often takes 'power' walks. As we live in the country with wild animals and the like, I thought it important for her to carry protection. Pepper spray didn't make sense because of the wind. So, because I'm such a great husband, I took it upon myself to buy her a small 6 inch medal bar ...

Wakey wakey eggs-n-backey!! We didn't mention it yet, but our hotel in Miami is awesome. We stayed here years ago on our way to Grenada, and loved it, and this trip is no different. Every morning from 7:30 - 9:30 they pull off breakfast for everyone. It's awesome. It's a buffet of hot, cold, warm stuff; whatever you can think up. Love it! ...
