    ... power boat which created a bow wave of about 3/4 of a metre!!! we upped stakes and moved down to Bums bay for the night - what a crowd! finally found a little spot and anchored again. Had a quick dip (it was really hot) then went for sundowners with Axis Mundi. On Monday Morning i dropped ave off, who picked up the colt and drove to boatworks while i steamed up river.     ... luggage. 'Surfers Paradie'??? Not for me! Just a big town full of sky scraper hotels, tacky shops and chavvy people. The hostel is even worse, run down, scruffy, dirty, & the kitchen is dangerous!     ... was beautiful there too and we did a 6km coastal walk. We started out in torrential rain but we didn't let that put us off! We kept going and after 20mins it stopped and the sun came out and we were all sweating and wishing it was raining!
