A bit grey today but always hard to tell here whether rain or smog. In todays case, looks like smog.We plan a trip to the newer side of this vast city, Tianhe and the Canton tower. It is about an hour by public transport so we elect to take a taxi. eating off campus because I had yet to figure out the ...

... with their 43-day old infant for a 19-hour train ride! Someone is looking out for me, because before we start to move the husband asks if I'd mind switching cars- apparently they aren't seated together. I am now in a car with a super nice Canadian couple, Yvonne and Steve and their 7-year old son, Paul. They treat to a delicious dinner in the dining car (I didn't yet exchange any Yuen) and we play rummy until bedtime. After a semi-restful sleep ...

What a dramatic day of soccer with some great weather!

Due to seeding, our boys entered the playoffs in 3rd place and unfortunately had to face RCHK in the first round. Despite the odds, our team took an early 1-0 lead on the goal by Bruno Novo. RCHK scored late in the 2nd half to tie it up and send the game to extra time. RCHK broke the stalemate in extra time to take the win. Goalkeeper ...
