... swam with the fishes, you could swim deep down or you could just paddle along the surface. But the view was impressive, the colors were so vibrant and beautiful and the fish would literally swim in your face. It was awesome.
We loaded back up onto the boat and went to "The Beach"...basically we went and swam around on the beach that they film the beach on. It was such a cool experience and I took a lot of pictures as we played around. Soon after we headed over to Phi ...
... I suspect. A party for young and old. No crazy drinking that I saw. Except in the Bars but even then, the focus was on getting wet. I guess I didn't get wet enough because my luck wasn't where it needed to be. When I went to replenish my wallet at the ATM, The machine decided to keep my card. And Nothing I could do, since the banks were closed for the holiday. I was going to stop in today when they ...
Karon Beach, Thailand donmiller... was..he could have easily kneed me in the face and ended the fight..but i was able to escape his clinches without much damage. One of the techniques used to stop the clinch..is the CHECK..basically blocking any possibility of knees and trying to wrap up the opponent. I checked him once sucessfully and I was about to do it again. Mamai..tried to counter my check with a leg sweep...but he was tired..and sloppy. After he missed the sweep..I saw my opportunity..he was ...
Phuket, Thailand lannyc... up and prepared for the dive. As soon as I got into the sea I felt very uncomfortable and asked to be taken back to the surface to the boat. I have since learnt that this is not the way a diving course should be conducted and the instructors were grossly negligent in their actions. It does pay off to do your research before handing over your money.
Last year while I was in Phuket I did a PADI DSD course, this was arranged through the hotel I was staying in (Yorkshire ...
Kata Beach, Phuket, Thailand - November 29 - December 1 The next few days were spent bumming around the beach, having a few drinks and basically doing not too much at all. Day 1 was dedicated to sleeping late, eating and enjoying Kata Beach. It was a very pretty beach, and very hot, but unfortunately there were loads ...
Phuket, Thailand mattandneetie... Vegas can't beat it :P
Day 5 - My husband went for his second scuba diving with Max from Sharkey Scuba, while I went to Kata for some shopping and hit local spas for manicure, pedicure and foot massage. I don't recommend getting massage in a local spa. They are cheap (very cheap instead!). I paid 7 dollars for 1 hour foot massage. But instead of feeling relax, I felt pain when he massaged my feet :(. Manicure/pedicure is fine. I paid 5 dollars for both.
... nearly running out storage. Luckily I bought another additional 2GB SD card at Jungceylon on the first day, and should it last for another 2 ...
Phuket, Thailand princesscheryl... our locked bags at the guest house and then caught a long-tail boat to Railey... it's not an island, but it is a few beach areas completely surrounded by massive limestone rocks, so it's island-esque. I believe you can only take long-tail boats to get there. I took plenty of pictures because it was beeeeeeeautiful. Nothing I've seen yet has rivaled the Whitsundays in ...
Railey, Thailand ktmcq143... a trip. I saw Thai people on bikes, scooters, cars, even elephants! While we didn't do much "sight seeing" we did find play mini-golf with some dinosaurs. Why not? I read on a pamphlet from the hotel (first bad sign...) that great sunset views could be found at Promthep Cape. So, we check it out. We charter a bumpy taxi ride an hour into the jungle and emerge at a complete tourist trap. Shops and a restaurant. Clearly enough to ...
Phuket, Thailand alex_merwinA Climber's Haven Since we didn't have to catch our boat ride until 3:30 in the afternoon, we had the day to enjoy Phi Phi a little more. We took our time getting started and left our bags with the sweet couple at our amazing guesthouse. We meandered through the alleys and browsed the stalls of clothes, trinkets and DVDs. The sun had finally decided to emerge, so Tim and I headed for the beach where we could get some picture perfect shots of ...
