Will we make it trough the desert...?
so having said goodbye to San Diego, last night we drove 30 miles east to just outside a small town called El Cajon onto the sycuan indian reservation territory to stay in the casino car park... betting is not allowed in USA so there are no bookies etc they are only allowed to go to casinos and they have to be in indian reservation land.. interesting..!!

A few weeks back in Arizona

We both woke around 6am and then went back to sleep, and when I woke again I looked at the clock and could not believe my eyes--10:24 AM!!!!! Cannot belive we went back to sleep and for that long, but the room seemed dark with that court outside our window! Hurriedly dressed and headed to breakfast but they had quit the buffet at 10. Grand Canyon til Scottsdale

Godt installeret i helikopteren med høreværn og sikkerhedssele lettede vi. Vi skulle flyve hen over Grand Canyon - sikke en oplevelse - med filmen i aftes in mente - kunne vi genopleve hvad vi så i aftes. Det var en mega stor oplevelse - sikke farver og sikke bjergformationer - solen skinnede fra en skyfri himmel og Coloradofloden bugtede sig gennem dalen.
