this apartment was a tiny bit out of toen which was great and the main town has loads of road works going on and was very busy.
the rooms amazing very clean and well presented we really enjoyed our stay here and wish we could of stayed longer, it was a real home away from home. only down side no wifi.

A great little find just out of town on the road to Shute Harbour. The apartments are lovely and have everything you need and more. The owners are very helpful. Loved it. We stayed 3 nights and relaxed, it was very welcome.

Let me get my defence out there first. We were into the last 100 kilometres of the 1050km journey we have taken over the last 2 days. The long and repetitive road had been for the most part …

I can truly appreciate why the Whitsundays are so heavily protected as there as so many strict rules and regulations that every person and boat has to adhere to and I honestly hope that everyone keeps adhering because the beauty of the place really does need to be preserved. Whitehaven and some of the surrounding beaches are different to any other beach in the world because it’s not actually sand that makes up ...

Then they went for a drive downtown, Ken found a fantastic F&V shop and proudly came back with his wares. We have our tourist flight over the reef tomorrow so a few quiet days have been good (for me at least !)

Back on dry land we were a bit wobbly on the legs for a few hours but we were both so excited to be meeting Claire and Darragh later that day. We had sadly missed them in Sydney so we were looking forward to a reunion even more at this stage. After nearly a year apart it only took us 5 mins to feel ...
