this apartment was a tiny bit out of toen which was great and the main town has loads of road works going on and was very busy.
the rooms amazing very clean and well presented we really enjoyed our stay here and wish we could of stayed longer, it was a real home away from home. only down side no wifi.

A great little find just out of town on the road to Shute Harbour. The apartments are lovely and have everything you need and more. The owners are very helpful. Loved it. We stayed 3 nights and relaxed, it was very welcome.

worth it. Drive up was enjoyable with changing scenery and totally clear
    roads.
We passed small villages & saw where the sugar cane farms
are, we could see how they move it around, in the back drop were the factories where it is produced.

... and I tried to put the thought of great white sharks and bull sharks and tigers sharks and baby sharks and every type of sharks to the back of my mind! I'll be fine right.. I was! The first stop was Hayman Island and it was the best snorkelling of the trip so far! So so many fish surrounded us, hundreds of species and schools and coral, it was beautiful. We took many a go pro video, we probably have hours of fish footage by now! After our first snorkel, we had a set sail into ...

The first evening after the kids were settled into bed, the adults were visiting in the living room. After a few minutes, Kerryn nonchalantly got up and walked over to the kitchen. I turned to see what she was doing and saw her quietly wave a giant possum who had found ...

Guten morgen folks. This blog post comes to you from beyond the grave. We joke, but seriously - Cyclone Marcia was a hoot and a half. More on that later. This part of the trip was all about the islands, stopping in Hervey Bay for a Fraser Island tour, then making our way up to Airlie Beach to the Whitsundays. Fraser Island is basically a giant sand pit - there is literally nothing but the stuff on the island, which has now permanently coated all our belongings. ...
