this apartment was a tiny bit out of toen which was great and the main town has loads of road works going on and was very busy.
the rooms amazing very clean and well presented we really enjoyed our stay here and wish we could of stayed longer, it was a real home away from home. only down side no wifi.

A great little find just out of town on the road to Shute Harbour. The apartments are lovely and have everything you need and more. The owners are very helpful. Loved it. We stayed 3 nights and relaxed, it was very welcome.

... Palm cove' 'the pass' which it turns out will be a great spot for Mike to surf when there is more swell. It's a beautiful sandy cove, obviously popular but not crazily busy and touristy like Byron itself. The water was glistening and sparkling and the sky quite moody and misty into the distance - still bright and blue but with enough mist to only reveal the mountains and hills on the horizon just a smidgen. The clouds were a huge collection of wisps and wafts above us ...

... seat etc etc but this lady at check in was cool as a cucumber and let our slightly overweight, overstuffed bags through no problemmo. I guess it depends how long they've been working for the company to know how lenient and passenger friendly they can be. Rafe, of course, did a massive stinker the moment we got onboard and she let me quickly change him before ...

... t take any photos. We did give it a good look over but it isn't any good for caravanning. It is we believe primarily for fishing although there is a fenced off swimming area that the local kid were frollicking in safe from crocodiles. So back out on the road a couple of Ks and take the turning to Hydeaway Bay. As we approach the town we pass a nice looking caravan park on the right. Now this is one for the memory banks. We drive into the town and already we can see the ...

... sort it. We weren't leaving until late in the evening so it didn't matter too much. We sat around the hostel for hours watching films etc. We decided that we would get the 4pm shuttle into town to get a big meal, which would be both lunch and dinner, and then we would get some snacks for the coach journey. So at 4pm we did just that. The next shuttle was leaving town at 7.10pm, so we had 3 hours to kill. Unfortunately, the only place to eat in town was a little ...
