A great little find just out of town on the road to Shute Harbour. The apartments are lovely and have everything you need and more. The owners are very helpful. Loved it. We stayed 3 nights and relaxed, it was very welcome.

There are some lovely old buildings and we note the local sugar mill is up and running, no tours however. It is the story of many a country town with lots of empty shops and not many people about. We will see what the next month or so brings, as this will be a big part of our decision making on our direction from here. Until the next instalment, enjoy and stay ...
