... or not, half the cost of a trip to a Cape Town dentist!!!
Bit of nostalgia for dad driving past UCLA and Santa Monica.. bit of "Pretty Woman" flashback moment for Mom seeing all the sights around Beverly Hills.
Had an awesome lunch on Malibu Pier before heading to the airport for flight to Honolulu. Stunning weather, blue skies and warm - welcome change from the cold of the snow..

Will send Maui update soonest..

... could walk along the waters edge and see the sea lions but we could not find any parking and the GPS wasn't much help either. After turning the voice off the GPS and just looking at the map we eventually found a space. I would advise not going her in the middle of the day as I can imagine it being a nightmare driving around. We had read that mid week is the best time to go and I would have to agree with this!

... as her favourites. We all agree that the Needles Hwy was a great ride and could spend a few days riding that area.

Having said that, we are all looking forward to coming home.

And planning our next trip!

Thanks to Snap & Jac for being terrific traveling companions. It will be great to look back and share stories, photos & memories with them in years to come.

... simultaneously wanting to text and go on Facebook and stay as connected as possible in the last few hours I had left (#millennial), but also being worried about phone battery lasting until I got to Belize so I could let my parents (let's be honest, mostly my mom) know that I had actually gotten to the tropical country. I was also attempting to read one of the books I had brought - what else is there to do in the jungle but read, right? - but I was struggling ...

... he made a few more phone calls and hooray he found us a Mustang! And it's RED!!!! We then drove back to the hotel in a trip that was scarier than any ride we had been on that day. But we (and the other road users) made it back alive.

Today we also discovered the magic they call churros.

Interesting fact: An actor cat being chased across the stage but an actor dog will look decidedly peed off.
