    ... fins had fallen out. Everyone new each other in the water and were all really chatty and friendly, it was secret surf spot so it was quiet and the only guys out there were the JDS boys. You could sit on your board and seeing the most incredible view of the volcano, Palm trees and the reef below.

    Well, I must have died and ended up in the Garden of Eden. The house that I am renting in Sanur Bali is just too amazing for words - see the pictures. It is located in a compound with other villas and it is the most charming thing that you can imaging. My own private courtyard with a lovely garden, a pond with goldfish, a sheltered outdoor kitchen complete with pots, pans plates, etc. The ...

    ... of Asia, and there was no hand soap! I took to wheeling my IV pole down to the first floor and using the one in the lobby which was much more pleasant. (And then I got yelled at for leaving my room when I should be resting.)

    - The food - surprise - it was good! I got to order from a menu for each meal. As I had an appetite again, I really enjoyed the food. Not the healthiest of choices (fish and chips?) But tasty.

    ... go to waste on the mountain! You never know where your next meal will come from if your porters leave you ;). Or at least that is the way my brain works,

    I can't really elaborate on the downward journey, except that parts were slippery as can be (I had to resort to sideways ski stop at one stage) and if I didn't have the hiking poles someone would have had to carry me. So slippery and ******* the quads and knees.

    Up early as this is our first day in Sanur, Bali.......We meet Frema & her daughter who is only 15 month's old, so cute! Frema is the cook, maid & cleaner for this villa and she has made us a lovely fruit breakfast, yum....
