Got back to Roanoke mid-day Saturday. It was fun/encouraging to hear myself accidentally beginning to answer various airport workers in spanish :) All in all, the flights home were as smooth as they could go and I was warmly greeted by my dear friend Loice and a Blues and BBQ festival happening downtown.

Friday afternoon Sheryl and I poked around town on our own, hit a couple of local antique stores, and found a nice restaurant/tap house in downtown Roanoke, called Blue 5.
