A trip of hotel Inspections
I was lucky enough to win a place of the Las Vegas Fam trip which went in December. We had a reduced time of 3 nights in Las Vegas thanks to Virgin Atlantic cancelling the flight we were supposed to be on Sunday 9th December.
We flew out on Monday the 10th from London Gatwick, this was actually my first time flying …
Welcome to Sin City!
Swing Low, Sweet Chariot
A quite day today, needed it after yesterdays big adventure, went shopping and got some Levi's for about $50 and a Puma hoodie for $20 (might need two in NY). Overall Vegas has been fun, wish I had more time here though, I get the feeling that may be a common theme by the time I get back to Sydney - time and lots more money - time I can …
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas
On the 30th of December we left San Francisco and headed to Las Vegas to meet Elly and Joel for New Year's Eve. As we were landing in Vegas it was dusk and we had an amazing view of the strip which was filled with massive high rise hotels and bright lights. It had been a long day, but still, once we landed, we had to wait on the plane for an extra …

Enjoyed every moment and impressed with the extravagent garden displays in the Atrium. Right in the heart of the Strip. Not as expensive as it seems when compared to Adelaide hotels and now in Canada. Enjoyed it all.

Great location and service. I specially love the swiming pool area, and of course, it's all about Italy!

Absolutely gorgeous rooms to be expected, as is the level of service.
We had no time for the pool or gym unfortunately.
Sadly, as a hotel guest there is no special treatment for the incredible lines at the buffet. Which is extravagant in variety if at times mediocre in quality. The casino itself is tastefully decorated but again, public access. Next time I would also opt for a fountain view room for a small amount more. The view of the the rest of Vegas is uninspiring.
Bottom line, come here to be the Prince knowing you can dress like one for much less.

Beautiful hotel rooms, restaurants, conservatory, "O" Theatre, chandeliers and flowers...everything is well maintained and elegant. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Prime Steakhouse in the evening where we could see the fountains while we dined. We had a delightful, light dinner one evening at the Bellagio Cafe. "O" was incredible. Hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed the conservatory and the fountains. Because the Bellagio provides a pick-up area for tour buses, we were able to be picked up at the Bellagio for our Grand Canyon tour. People who stayed at other hotel/casinos that did not have this feature had to either get to another location or be picked up by a shuttle and taken to another location. The Bellagio is super nice and convenient for so many things!

Historical Traveler Reviews Bellagio Las Vegas
Wonderful
I Just got back from staying at the Bellagio today. we were there for 4 days. everyone was wonderful. they made you feel welcome. i would recommend it highly to everyone. i can't wait to go back.
I'll be back !
We stayed 4 nights to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. Would recommend a lakeview room, we never tired of watching the fountain show. Our room was lovely and clean and a good size. A trip to the Grand Canyon followed by a couple of hours drinking wine and watching the fountains before going to see 'O' made my wife's birthday a day never to be forgotten. Not a cheap day but worth every penny. Do not miss 'O' words can't describe how good it is. We have started saving for a return visit.
Too Big - Check in a hassle
Although beautiful - it's just too big. Despite their claim of promising to have you a room when you get there, it took over two hours to get a room. Of course, the manager says it's all your fault because they are tryig to accomodate your room type request! The price structure is also questionable. We paid $259 and heard others who paid $159 for same room. When questioned, the check-in representative rudely explained that once a price was quoted there was no negotiating!
The rooms are very nice, but I've stayed in nicer. The hotel is so big it is overpowering. The lines to the overpriced buffett were very, very, long. The conservatory is lovely and worth a walk-through. The coffee shop us overpriced - $3 for a small cup of coffee. The casino is too big and didn't seem friendly. This hotel is difinitely not a 4 star (some of their ads claim 5 star - no way). Next time, we'll stay at the Venetian. T
Wonderful Hotel
We stayed at the Bellagio in June, 2002 for our anniversary. I have nothing but absolutely wonderful things to say about the hotel. The room was just gorgeous. We didn't stay in a fountain-view room but you can watch the fountain show from outside so who cares about seeing it from your room. This hotel is Class A across the board. I absolutely loved it! Its pricey though but when you get there, you'll know that your money was well spent. I just can't say enough great things about it. And the buffets are to die for!
A gorgeous hotel
we stayed here in June and it was beautiful. When we checked in they upgraded us to a deluxe suite as we were getting married. Our room had 2 bathrooms, one with a sauna and another with a whirlpool and 4 televisions.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The fountains were amazing and I cant wait to stay there again
Beautiful hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Belliago last summer and hope to visit again. We really enjoyed watching the fountains from our room. The television has a channel to provide the music. How excellent. I video taped the fountains about 10 different times from the room. The video came out great. The most fun was the piano music by Ariel. We sat at the lounge for over an hour enjoying the wonderful music. I bought a couple of his cd's and still play them from time to time. Our trip was unforgettable!
Bellagio
after having my windshield broken out in the bellagio parking lot (less than 100 feet from the entrance) Their security staff assured me that the risk management staff would give this a proper review and would help us in rectifying the problem. it so happens they did the opposite.
their staff told me it was not the responsibility of the hotel and pretty much suck it up.
nice way to treat a casual yet formerly frequent customer of the hotel and mainly the casino.
i've been known to drop two or three thousand dollars on a given night. obviously not enough to warrant management to try to make a customer feel welcome. if your not a whale (million dollar credit limit) then it's to bad. but if i was a whale, i would be riding in a limo, not driving. i guess i will have to take my small money to a casino that appreciates a loyal customer.
Didn't like the stay at Bellagio
I would like to share my recent experience at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada with other people so they can re-think any future plans of staying at that hotel. On December 2001 my family and I flew to Las Vegas for a three day stay at the Bellagio. We had reserved one of the penthouse suites which are very expensive. In addition to thecost of our suite, we spent a large amount of money at their facilities, including gambling losses. Sometime during our first night at the Bellagio we had a couple of
drinks out of the room's mini-bar but failed to notice that the seal on the Sprite bottles had already been broken. Whatever liquid was in the bottle caused us to become very ill, with flu-like symptoms including diarrhea. We reported the incident to the hotel staff who questioned the truthfulness of our claims and treated us rudely and disrespectfully. After lengthy discussions the hotel finally agreed not to charge us for the two bottles! We were extremely disheartened by their proposed resolution, especially in light of the fact that we had spent a lot of money to stay at that hotel. I write this as an expression of remorse that the owners and operators of these hotels are so rich and powerful that they feel they do not need treat their guests with respect, except of course the "high-rollers." Do you think if "high-roller" or a celebrity had lodged the same complaint as me they would have been similarly treated? Of course not. I appeal to all of you who fit into the category of average citizen, people whose pleas would be ignored, under the same circumstances, and ask you to boycott the Bellagio Hotel and stay in one of the other 250,000 rooms available within the city of Las Vegas.
Don't Get Your Hopes Up; This Place Stinks!
This place is NOW a pit! I mean, the place has taken on the standards of a Holiday Inn. When I walked off the elevator, I knew it was going to be a long stay. A wet towel greeted me on the floor in the center of the hallway. When I got to my room, a pile of dirty plates from roomservice was outside the door. The room was of average size, but what really got me was the fact that there must have been a stain on the bedspread that would not come out, so instead of putting a new one on the bed, someone went through the effort to sew a patch on it. HOW TACKY! I checked out the next day and stayed at the Mandalay Bay, which was by far a much better experience.
Fountains really are facinating
Whether you stay at the bellagio or not, it
is worth visiting.
Be sure to walk through the flower atrium,
and catch at least one of the fountain
shows (every 20 minutes or something like that).
You can get an excellent view by the street.
Absolutedly worth looking at if you are in vegas.
