      We left Tahoe early morning to head to a place in Sacramento called Cameron Park. Glen had bought some signs of a guy and had organised to collect them we we arrived in town. When we got there we found that the streets were really wide, and then noticed people cleaning and polishing airplanes in their front yard.       ... miles. We came upon the Baldwin Estate Tallac Museum. It comprised of several preserved homesteads originally settled by "Lucky" Baldwin, a rich entrepreneur from San Francisco. We found out that he founded the Santa Anita Race Track named after his daughter, Anita. Who knew! There was also a section of the museum dedicated to the Washoe Indians who lived there first.       ... and an open pit gypsum mine. An hour and a half later, Virginia City came into view. Gold and silver discoveries put this town on the map and at its peak in the 1860's, there were 25,000 people living there.
