      ... in real time just 2500 feet away so their sacrifice was not in vain.

      We stopped at a few more sites, saw a 500 year time capsule at a Mercury site and went back to the camera tracking station where humans would be liquified. I saw a sandbag covered bunker there I missed the first time, apparently the first time the site was used a portable generator powered the camera unit, and it got liquified too, or at least rattled to pieces by the sonic ...

      ... going to be thorough and not going to rush myself like I did at the Smithsonian a few years back. I recently learned from my daughter Katie that I suffer from FOMO (Fear of missing out) and I don't want to miss a thing at KSC.       ... huge golf course just behind the marina. First Mate used the bike every day and the Captain joined her at the pool each evening. So refreshing. We had only intended on staying three nights in Vero but the wind and weather dictated differently. No matter, it was a very pleasant stay and we met several very nice people, including a couple that traveled on their boat with five of the seven foster children they had adopted.

      ... the old timers puffed away on their cigarettes and pipes (Apparently smoking doesn't kill you in Florida!).

      We found a place to stay for $60 and guess what it's another 2 bedroom suite! At these prices it seems silly to camp. Sadly this $60 suite was nowhere close to the great place we had in Daytona, well i guess you can't win them all. To justify our splurge, we heated up some soup for lunch and headed to the beach.
