Hiking in the Parks
... hiked through the woods to Caves County Park nearby, where we found spectacular scenery of the limestone caves along the coastline, that have been formed by years of erosion. Really a beautiful place and a fun hike.

Sand Bay at Sturgeon Bay, WI
... the bay and the sunrise without even getting out of bed. It was absolutely gorgeous! No neighbors - most had gone home for the summer or had already closed down their summer homes in readiness for the coming winter. So it was peaceful and quiet like owning our own beach lot, and only about 7 miles from the village of Sturgeon ...
On our way to Wisconsin
... because all the prices were high.
Sunday - we decided to drive inland to visit a local cheese making facility. Since it was Sunday they weren't making cheese but they were selling so we bought some.
Drove through some of the small towns but they were closed!! Our town of Menominee was open but only all the restaurants and bars.
Well we are off to Green Bay ...
Lots of lighthouses
We started our trip with a lunch stop at the new Hard Rock Four Winds located in New Buffalo, MI. It is located in the SW portion of the state just above the Indiana border. From here we head to Milwaukee to see the first of 5 lighthouses for the day. I am impressed with Milwaukee's waterfront, It has a nice Riverwalk/Lakewalk and has some nice parks right on Lake Michigan. We spent the night in NE ...
Bertha Gains Walmart Camper Status!

this! In high contrast to the previous campsite, we had plenty of security
lights, 4 lanes of background noise, car security systems honking several times,
and bless his heart and Walmarts, the street sweeper arrived at 5 am to CLEAN
