... we were in a cab heading to downtown Miami and the Intercontinental Hotel. We had room 3204 which was a gorgeous suite on the 32 floor. The views out over the bay towards South Beach were amazing. After showering We decide to head out for a walk and pick up a few things from chemist and also stock up again in Bath & Bodyworks. The alarm duly went at 3.15am, which I might say is very early, and we took a taxi to the Amtrak station in good time to catch the Silver Meteor for our 14 hour trip to Miami. The neighbour came out on his front porch in case the taxi was late as he was prepared to drive us. Lovely fellow.
