... of bear grills �� we absolutely loved it !! And had the most amazing views over the countryside, the jungle and the big river that leads to the ocean connecting to the Thai boarder. The boat then took us on a short journey to a smaller waterfall, where you could swim and sunbathe on massive rocks. At this point the sun came out and it was boiling hot, just what we wanted :) we spent ages ...

... I met Heini King Kong, a german from Munich, who had been living on the island for more than 10 years. It was very interesting to talk to him and nice to see that there are also some people moving to Thailand and exiting normal life style, but don`t live the white trash life of alcohol and women. He received his name from a huge King Kong tattoo on his back and I spend two nights with him and his friends. Also got my motorbike from him… Really nice ...

... having any sent me into a panic. I weened myself off it. Then when I first moved to London, the Turkish shop round the corner from us had them. I drank through 4 bottles before it made me ill. Must definitely remember not to get a taste for it as I've started not being able to not put it on everything again.....but it's so goooooood. Damn you good things for always being addictive and harmful Wow it's ******* hot today. I take a quick wander up the beach and back ...

... people to visit to see their own culture through the ages. Buildings have been transported here from other areas to preserve them, some are exact replicas of certain buildings and some are built in the style of other areas, or centuries. It is a huge place, covering 240 acres, and included in the ticket is the loan of a bicycle in order to cover the ground in a day. We were the only westerners there as far as we could see and it made for an interesting day. It was very hot so the bikes made it ...

... rice field burning" season here in Chiang Mai, so he was looking forward to going South where that wasn't an issue. However, by the time they got down to the beach, his "cough" had turned into a full-blown bronchial problem. He only got to spend one day with Russ scootering around the island, and the rest of their days there, he unfortunately spent in bed while Russ went scootering, kayaking, snorkeling, boating and beaching it on his own.
