... only road on the island and it doesn't quite go all the way round to meet up with itself. At the southern tip there is a gap of about 4 kilometers yet to be connected. In the centre of the island are jungle covered craggy peaks, no roads but you can trek by foot or elephant to explore the tropical rain forest.

... and spent the day with them catching up on what we'd both been doing and enjoying the beach and a few card games. It was really great to see them both again and we planned to meet the following day too.
