... the long beach every day, but it certainly makes you angry that no one cooperates for a bit of cleaning and civilization.
How I hate them!It would be better that I gave not a damn and be happy in the rubbish as everybody does, but I can not right!
Each pile of waste that I see irritates me! Considering that there are many boys paid for cleaning and they do not do ...

... the missing 'pink bikini')." Phew. Mystery solved. I knew we didn't leave with a bathing suit that was not ours.... but the lady said "Yes that is the pink bikini. It is missing. You want I call police?". Sigh. "No. No of course not... how much do you want...?" I paid for the 'missing bikini' that I am sure will show up in another one of her many baskets and called it a night. Never a dull moment with the Kleins. Thank goodness I avoided.... "Canadian charged with shoplifting on sleepy Thai island"

Some of the elephants have awful injuries, broken legs and hips which have healed in awkward positions causing them disability, a couple are blind and a few have broken backs where they have been used for tourists to ride on but incorrectly (people riding elephants should sit on their neck and not across their backs). They are very well looked after at this park which is 250acres and also has a cat and dog sanctuary. The park sits on the river ...

... thatched beach bungalow on their website - but No 6 in a terrace of rooms. It is very nice though, clean and comfy. It is now 7.30. We left Jamie's at 10 this morning so we have been on the road for over 11 hours and now we could eat an elephant (not really :0) as we've not eaten since breakfast this morning. We order far too much at an Indian veggie place across the road but still somehow manage to clear all the plates. By 9.30 we're in bed and soon snoring.
