So after a 17 hr, which always feels more like 25 hr jaunt from Vancouver to Bangkok I arrived at my hotel a couple blocks from the "party street" that is Khao San Road. Thankful that I was far enough away from that madness that is KSR as I think I outgrew that kinda scene ohhhh about 18 years ago when I stopped making the Roxy my weekend choice of where to go to grind up against women. Anyway, thankfully I arrived around 10pm at night so after not getting a heck of a lot of REM on ...

In fact it was a blessing in disguise as we ...

... sharks fin speaks for itself - as we walked past the restaurants serving these they were noticeably busier but having ate, we didn't stop in to sample. Instead we headed for home with the intention of picking up some beers en route and planning the rest of our trip around Asia to ensure we fitted everything in. We half did picking up some beers but instead we opted for watching the Top Gear Vietnam Special so we could cross reference it to our trip. It was quite cool as all ...

... wel echt ontspannen van. Als er nog ergens een tikkeltje stress achtergebleven was, is dat nu echt wel weg! Our last chance to subordinate a Thai massage. I write subordinate because it is actually the most passive body abuse I know. I don't know what I have done wrong to these Thai ladies (maybe in a previous life?) but they pull, push and stretch my body as if it has to be torn apart. Marij chooses for the more sensitive alternative where they ...
