... life, over and over and over until our voices were hoarse from either singing, laughing or flu-ishness, or all three as in my case. This was a truly memorable evening indeed and lots of fun was had by all. And here’s the best part, I was cured, the following morning I felt great, no flu symptoms, no trace of a hangover, nada. Makes one think, doesn’t it.

Today was an amazing blue-sky day, we should have been at the beach, but ...
... The place is just lovely, so so quiet, a massive change from the bustling streets of Bangkok. The room is really quirky and the bathroom is outside... We read reviews that the local fisherman's village was a 5 minute walk and a couple of people had complained it was too far away, well you know me I move as fast as the speed of light, it's right across the road so I really don't know what way they were walking! Although crossing the road can take some time, it's sad ...
... We sat down with our supper in an open area where there are chairs, tables, and a stage. On this stage were a man and his Thai wife, with a guitar and an amp, trying to revive CCR (Creedence Clearwater Revival), safe to say, they were not revived. Supper was great though.

We got up extra early and headed for Topcats a lake on the island. He did really well catching a Paccu, two Mekong catfish, an alligator gar which unfortunately got away before I could take a decent photo- hitting the guide in the man in the head in the process - ooopppss!! ... and I decided it was probably best to I head to a pharmacy. We got to the pharmacy and I explained my symptoms to the lady, straight away she mentioned IBS which I have but had never even thought about that causing this but then she said she thought I could have some kind of bacteria in my stomach as well , I guess this might be from the food and the way it's cooked here. Anyway I got a course of antibiotics and some peppermint tablets for the next 5 days. For the afternoon we ...
