We arrived very early to our accommodation in Koh Samui and there was no one there to check us in. Fortunately, a very kind couple from St. Petersburg who were also staying at the hotel returned from the beach and offered for us yo gang out in their room while we waited for someone to arrive. ... I'm a fan of the scooter, but I've become a lady of leisure who happily sits behind Pete whilst he drives. Sadly, (although we tried!) we could not both fit on the one scooter with our big bags in tow.
