Visited the floating market. It's not really floating. There are a load of houses built on stilts, forming canals between them all. You get blasted along on a long fast boat (big old engine directly connected to a long prop shaft sticking out the back) to the market area, and can walk from shop to shop to buy the tat they have available. When Lauren and I first got our current place we were informed that it would be partially furnished. Well, there should have been a little bit more emphasis on the partially because we didnt have much when we moved in besides a few beds and a few appliances. So for the past few weeks we have been trying to furnish our place with cheap but attractive goods (kinda like me). We havent had a lot of success and our place still remained a bit empty ...

It was a whirlwind 4 days in Bangkok. The clock seems to tick at double speed in this crazy city. Anytime you jump in a taxi to go somewhere it takes 30- 45 minutes. The traffic is manic.

Our hotel was luxury!! It was a brand new Accor hotel only 4 minutes walk to MBK, Siam centre and Paragon shopping. Our suite was huge with separate lounge and office area and huge bathroom with separate toilet! Mason was very excited that someone could ...

Lauren's company's headquarters is in an area of alot of expats (foreigners from Western countries) and has a lot of nice neighborhoods nearby. We are in the process of looking for a house or condo in that area and will keep you posted!
