      ... kept seeing their tails which meant they were diving underwater for anywhere between 4-14 minutes. After 10 minutes or so without seeing anything they would pop up a distance away and the boat would have to chase after them so it was a bit cat and mouse. We got plenty of sightings of the whales but they were always a bit too far away. Luckily a pod of dolphins surrounded the catamaran and kept us entertained between whale sightings.       ... panels on to it, oh boy, the panels are so heavy to lift up onto the porch, can't do it, so we had plenty of space to lie them on the ground and able to move them around durning the day with the sun, all good?       The day started early for us today as it had been raining heavily overnight. Our novice tent building skills were in evidence as our annex was holding vast reserves of water. Mark held guard between 4.30 and 5.30. We knew we were in for a wet one. Even the brush turkey did not like it a bit. Our main goal for the day was to make the annex correct so we did not have any water built up risking damaging our annex.

      ... with others casually. Or you could keep them on and just jam out in your own world. It was pretty fun to just watch people dancing like crazy without hearing the music they were listening to.

      Byron Bay was such an amazing place! I am heartbroken that we only got to spend two nights there. I also hate that we didn't really meet people until the second night. But it will always be one of my great memories from my trip to Australia.
