    Great location, fun place

Great location for a hotel. Beautiful beach and lots of palm trees. Fun place to stay, near the ocean and the bay, close to Sea World and the rollercoaster in Belmont Park. The hotel service was very friendly. I loved the boat cruise!

    Fun Beach & Marine Bay

The view of marine bay and the beach is nice and nearby by the Bahia Hotel. It is a nice hotel that has been on the beach for many years. They are giving out free $50 now because it is their 50 years of business on the beach. They have seals at the hotel. And rollercoaster is near for the kids to go out have fun and go on boardwalk or go learn to surf. It is a nice hotel on the beach for good price not too expensive like over $300 a night.

I was really disappointed in this hotel. Our room had a beautiful view but it really needed an updating. The bathroom was small, the bedspreads were really thin and everything looked like it was leftover from the 70's. I thought that for the price that we paid, it would be a little more upscale. We requested a non smoking room which smelled like smoke when we arrived. We thought if we would air it out alittle it would be alright but it didn't help. The front desk offered us another room. The pool was nice and there is an nice size exercie room but at least one or two of the machines were not working at a time. The office was called but no one came to look at them in the hour that I was there. The grounds are nice and the staff is very friendly. I would not return this hotel in the future. I really think that I could get a better hotel for the same price

    A bit disappointing

Stayed at the Bahia for a brief getaway, three nights. The room was very large and had kitchen facilities. The view was wonderful, Bay all around, and the location excellent.

Unfortunately, there was something wrong with the pullout bed in the sofa and we had to stack couch and chair pillows underneath it to hold it up. When I picked up the chair pillow, I got old candy that was stuck between the pillow and the chair on my hands. Response from housekeeping was SLOW.

Based on what we paid for the room, this experience was surprising.

Otherwise, that aside, it is a beautiful location and the landscaping is excellent.

    Bad location for bad weather

I just arived back from the Bahia and it was not all that I had expected based on other reviews. About half of the hotel is motel style, where you park your car outside your room door. It was rainy and cold durring your visit so it was anoying that we had to walk outside to get to our room. I would avoid this hotel/motel in the winter. Don't expect to feel pampered. The surroudings are not up-scale. The bed linens were old and so was the rest of the room. We took the bus into town and it turned out to take several bus changes and hours each day to enjoy the sights. We wished we had stayed in the Gaslamp area. The food was reasonable and the room service was nice. If you want to spend your day tanning and need to park your car this still might be the place for you. We payed 70$ a night.

    Friendly Bay Hotel

I recommend Bahia for Friendly and Clean Atmosphere and Amenities offered at a great location at the Bay and close to the Pacific Ocean!

Bahia Hotel -Mission Bay, Great Choices & Location

The maximum to get the best out of San Diego for few days is at Bahia Resort Hotel at Misson Bay. There are unlimited great choices on location for Bay, Beach, Pacific Ocean, and close to Sea World along with a FREE cruise at the bay. The hotel has real cute seals for my kids to enjoy. Sports at the Bay Resort: tennis and swimming and work out facility. The resort is close to everything with view of awesome San Diego Bay. It's a water sports park with jets and sailboats to rent right on the beach!

    Bahia Hotel

I agree the bahia, gets an A+ from me! The location is unbeateable. The staff and service was great too.

We had a blast on the Bay at the Bahia!

Beautiful location, nice beach on Mission Bay near Sea World and the ocean. We stayed over the holiday weekend and had a blast! Great restaurant and they even have a free dance cruise on a riverboat with great blues music. Friendly service, nice amenities.

    San Diego Tropical Surprise

I recently stayed at the beautiful Bahia Hotel in San Diego on Mission Bay. I was really surprised by the wonderful location & super friendly staff. I had the choice of lounging either on the bay side beach or taking a short walk to the ocean beach. There was plenty to do there. They have jet skis & tennis & sailing. It was so relaxing. They have a riverboat cruise with dancing & cocktails and there is even an amusement park across the street. I can't wait until next year's vacation. I am definitely coming back.

Really good nights sleep last night, this Hyatt resort is a really good one, it's very smart hotel and they are especially attentive to there guests needs. I am first up today and take myself off for a tour of India Wells with my jogging trainers, it's hot even at 7.30 in the morning, I fact I don't see any other joggers out at all, even though it' …
