So today we went to the volcano rincon de la veija, unfortunately the crater was closed but we did all the activities at the base! I'm glad in hindsight as the hike to the crater was classified as 'challenging' and today is the hottest day yet, more like a dry heat with very little wind! ... with my buoy though so I'm now going to have to dive on the day I leave. Talk about squishing it all in!

Laura was going to the pool with Julian for the afternoon to practice skills so I ended up going along. We ended up going to my pool at my apartment, it's not like anyone will complain. Julian went through the skills and I did a few of them as we're doing them again tomorrow. When we were doing the skills it seriously started raining for the first time ...

... of an earlier start as I usually do on a course day. Still getting knackered cycling to work, I'm beginning to think that I need to oil my bike again as it's way too much work at the moment! We started today by going through the knowledge reviews and I found it slightly concerning that I seemed to know more of the answers than a particular person who was doing his instructor part of the course. Not really concerning in terms of my learning, I have Martin who'll just tell us what ...
