Bahama Bay Resort Davenport

I am very very picky about where I stay and Bahama Bay lived up to my expectations. I stayed at the resort for 3 nights over the Labor Day holiday. The condo had all of the amenities promised. It was very clean and well appointed. You will be satisfied. The only problem I had was an odor in the hallway which I know was due to a pet. A notice to petowners, please follow the rules so you don't ruin a vacation for people who are allergic to your pets. There is a no pet policy for a reason.

We had a great time at Bahama Bay Resort. The 2bed/2 bath we stayed in was very pleasant and spacious with its 10 ft. ceilings. Everything was new as this resort only opened for business at the beginning of 2003. The resort is very convenient to all the Disney attractions, Splendid China, etc. We enjoyed the Caribbean feel to the resort, and it was a nice place to come home to after a day spent at Disney. We loved relaxing in front of the pool at the poolside restaurant. We definitely will return to this resort for our next trip to Disney World.

I was very impressed with the condo. The rooms were spacious, there were TV's in every room and it even had a DVD player. The kitchen was equipped w/everything but food!!The interior was nicely decorated and everything was nice and clean. Towels and changes of sheets were abundant so there were no daily cleaning lady interruptions.. The screened balcony was wonderful for eating or just resting. Although we did not have any children traveling with us, there was a playpen and highchair in our unit. We really hated to leave but we do plan on returning to Florida and staying at this resort over and over again.

Amazing place, virgen holidays use it and they only use the best expensive places. Best place for kids 5 swiming pools, beach, widescreen tvs in all bedrooms, Cinema, games room, tennis, hotel service basically with out being in a hotel.

Found this treasure on expedia at a tremendous rate under $70 per night for 2/2. So you know I was very pleased. It did not meet the property descriptions because they are still in the developmental stage. For a family of 5 I can not complain a bit I would have never found a hotel that would have accomodated us at that price. Good Luck!

Great! These large condos are away from the traffic and are great for families. Our unit even had a crib and high chair.

The stay was wonderful and the accomodations were great. We were close enough to Disney and the other great sites that it felt as if we were on the Disney grounds. We went the first week of April and had such a great time that this will be our vacation spot each Spring Break. One small problem occurred when we had to move to another unit when the water heater did not work. It caused so many problems and we had felt so comfortable in the newer room.

We went to the bahama bay in early april. What more could i have asked for. It was absolutely brilliant, and certainly a lot nicer than some of the hotels on the 192. Alot of effort had been put into it i think it was worth it. It was a the best holiday i have ever!!!!!!! had and the best hotel, there really are no words to describe it.

we stayed at the Bahama Bay Easter week, and could not have wished for a better place to stay, It was very luxurious and a good base to vist all the parks and so on. But I would reccomend that you hire a car as it is not on the main highway, We had a three bedroomed condo which had everything you need for a brilliant holiday and Iwould definately stay there again. When we went in April it had more or less only just opened so everything was brand new, and not all the ameneties were opened, when it is all completely open I think it will be even better and look forward to staying ther again.

Great place to stay. It was like home away from home.
