... Cirque Du Soleil in Downtown Disney. I was looking forward to the show big time! We decided we would have lunch out and went to iHOP (International House of Pancakes) for food. We managed to find one on route to the Mall after i checked it out online before leaving the villa. The kids were not happy because we decided to restrict them to children's menus from now on as portions were just getting silly. Just as well really as when food arrived I cannot say ...
... Kaisha and Kaleb ended up with new Adidas and Vans trainers, Tabari had a bag full of goodies (trainers x2, cap, football, t-shirts), Ayania got new football boots, trainers, Murl had Converse trainers, crocs, Oakley Ts, Banana Republic jacket and dress and Ericka two pairs of Fossil sun glasses (which were presents bought for her). We are still working on the concept of shopping for yourself with Ericka! she happily buys for the kids and others ...
... actually have to buy another couple of cases to fit everything in. Our last night in Orlando and as we could only book the villa for a week we are spending the night in downtown disney at the Holiday inn, we have decided not to drive up to Washington as its a waste of a day so will be dropping Cecil off at the airport in the morning and flying up. We spend the evening reflecting on our road trip, We have spent 81.5 hours in Cecil crossed ...
... help! As it turned out, all we needed was push out the way of a passing boat - then the 'senior' captain noticed he'd pulled the dead-mans switch and caused the stall. What jinks....?
Sunday and Monday were tame in comparison. Sunday was spent at Universal Studios checking out the rides, watching the parade etc. Don't ask me about the 'Rocket' roller coaster ... my eyes were firmly shut from the start! Monday was Florida Mall and dinner at ...
... tour of Downtown Disney where I walked to the Bridge Cart, which is the name of the merchandise cart, and then to the stroller/wheelchair rentals. I received my own lanyard with trading pins on it today and even had 5 different guest come up and trade pins with me. My trainer wanted to give me an opportunity to have some more guest interaction today, so she gave me a few Mickey Mouse stickers that I ...

The picky person's place to stay.
I am very very picky about where I stay and Bahama Bay lived up to my expectations. I stayed at the resort for 3 nights over the Labor Day holiday. The condo had all of the amenities promised. It was very clean and well appointed. You will be satisfied. The only problem I had was an odor in the hallway which I know was due to a pet. A notice to petowners, please follow the rules so you don't ruin a vacation for people who are allergic to your pets. There is a no pet policy for a reason.
Loved Bahama Bay Resort, Going Back Again!
We had a great time at Bahama Bay Resort. The 2bed/2 bath we stayed in was very pleasant and spacious with its 10 ft. ceilings. Everything was new as this resort only opened for business at the beginning of 2003. The resort is very convenient to all the Disney attractions, Splendid China, etc. We enjoyed the Caribbean feel to the resort, and it was a nice place to come home to after a day spent at Disney. We loved relaxing in front of the pool at the poolside restaurant. We definitely will return to this resort for our next trip to Disney World.
Fell in love w/Bahama Bay
I was very impressed with the condo. The rooms were spacious, there were TV's in every room and it even had a DVD player. The kitchen was equipped w/everything but food!!The interior was nicely decorated and everything was nice and clean. Towels and changes of sheets were abundant so there were no daily cleaning lady interruptions.. The screened balcony was wonderful for eating or just resting. Although we did not have any children traveling with us, there was a playpen and highchair in our unit. We really hated to leave but we do plan on returning to Florida and staying at this resort over and over again.
Wow! I ended up buying a home there
Fantastic, you can see disney fireworks every night over the lake, I have bought platinum apartments lake views, there, email me for cheap rates to stay in my penthouses (sleep 8) rent direct from me an owner firstname.lastname@example.org and I will cut you a great deal.
Amazing place, virgen holidays use it and they only use the best expensive places. Best place for kids 5 swiming pools, beach, widescreen tvs in all bedrooms, Cinema, games room, tennis, hotel service basically with out being in a hotel.
Found this treasure on expedia at a tremendous rate under $70 per night for 2/2. So you know I was very pleased. It did not meet the property descriptions because they are still in the developmental stage. For a family of 5 I can not complain a bit I would have never found a hotel that would have accomodated us at that price. Good Luck!
Big, cozy - great place to stay
Great! These large condos are away from the traffic and are great for families. Our unit even had a crib and high chair.
Great and Peaceful
The stay was wonderful and the accomodations were great. We were close enough to Disney and the other great sites that it felt as if we were on the Disney grounds. We went the first week of April and had such a great time that this will be our vacation spot each Spring Break. One small problem occurred when we had to move to another unit when the water heater did not work. It caused so many problems and we had felt so comfortable in the newer room.
We went to the bahama bay in early april. What more could i have asked for. It was absolutely brilliant, and certainly a lot nicer than some of the hotels on the 192. Alot of effort had been put into it i think it was worth it. It was a the best holiday i have ever!!!!!!! had and the best hotel, there really are no words to describe it.
Great place to stay
we stayed at the Bahama Bay Easter week, and could not have wished for a better place to stay, It was very luxurious and a good base to vist all the parks and so on. But I would reccomend that you hire a car as it is not on the main highway, We had a three bedroomed condo which had everything you need for a brilliant holiday and Iwould definately stay there again. When we went in April it had more or less only just opened so everything was brand new, and not all the ameneties were opened, when it is all completely open I think it will be even better and look forward to staying ther again.
Great place to stay. It was like home away from home.
