Back to Malacca Sentral by taxi and onto the bus to Mersing (about 4 hours) to catch the ferry to Tioman. Bus driver a nightmare and a few English expletives were required to get him to stop smoking, texting and concentrate on the job in hand! So after a cross country bus tour, I am now on Tioman. I have had the good luck of meeting Dinand, a dutch beauty, and as well a swed named Axel and two German bitties. Unfortunately after a great night of darts and beers at the hostel in Mersing , we discovered they were all going to another beach on Tioman, while me and Dinand were headed to ABC.

Our ferry on the last day left in the afternoon, so we had an open morning. I couldn't resist. The temptation was just too strong. I broke down and played golf at one of the resorts. The golf course was beautiful, and on one hole I couldn't even tee off because a family of monkeys had made a home there.
