The Bond Villa

A travel blog entry by hobo-magic

We landed back in Bangkok at Don Muang airport on Friday evening and were met by the lovely Jaa and Paul who had just returned from their trip to Bali a few days previously.

We spent the night at their Bangkok house, meeting yet more of their cute dogs and some evil chickens. We had dinner in a big shopping mall up the road which had an H&M, a Topshop and a Uniqlo!! But the clothes were about double the price of the same in the UK so I didn't buy anything.

... the aforementioned bathroom acessory - how you are supposed to dry off afterwards is anybody's guess). The recessed floor of the bathroom was now full and just beginning to spill over into the bedroom. Fortunately there was an obvious stop tap so I shut of the water and informed the management (and Dave) who came up to replace the nozzle in short order. Good job I had decided to drop off my bag.

I headed out to meet Dave and we caught a taxi down to Soi 7 where we ...

No Monkeys at the Temple

A travel blog entry by olsommer

... t. I still remember my Principal's son being attacked by the monkeys in Ban Saen because he was holding food. He had to get rabies shots.

They say that there is one aggressive monkey in particular named 'Mafia' who stops at nothing to get bananas off the people or the other monkeys.

I didn't get any rabies shots in the US because 1) they are so expensive and not covered by insurance, and 2) ...
