We went into town on a Free bus service that Simon discovered existed , and what a delightful town ,so pretty and charming with a mixture of Mexican and Spanish architecture ...no wonder The stars come here to relax ...a fabulous meal and cocktails ,a drink at a bar more friendly encounters from locals and it was time for bed ...ahhhhhh couldn't wait to go to the dream bed for a good nights sleep .....pool day tomorrow ! The Pacific Surfliner, which we took from SLO to Los Angeles (but which continues on to San Diego) spends hours of its route an average of 20 yards from the breakers of the Pacific Ocean, and the afternoon train provides the best opportunity to watch the sun reflect off the oil rigs and body surfers.     ... and only periodic garden tours for the Moorten's friends and family evolved into a community land mark. Today one pays a modest entrance fee for a self-guided tour of a vast number of wickedly weird and spectacular cacti, yucca plants and trees from all over the continent, from North America to South America.

    Time for a little crawling lesson from Dylan for Taya as he runs through the steps with her on his bed. No progress shown, but Dylan was stuck rocking on all fours or shuffling backwards for about 3 months, crawling just before he turned 9 months and the day Emma flew home on her own with him from South Africa. Wonder where we will be when Taya cracks it.

    ... first but after the first song he came out of the chariot and was off and dancing. Everyone around us was pointing and saying how cute it was and complimenting us on bringing our child to the festival. In such a heavily fashion conscious festival who knew a toddler and a pram would actually be the coolest fashion choice one could make :) The festival itself was even better than I remembered from my last visit in 2004 - it was so well run, no lines ...
