I can be the overseer of all from the invitation, floral, to the dessert, or just the 'designer' for the event.I have a great team of associates that help me make your vision a reality! ... Choo.So although you can find great deals %25-wise, many of thing don't come cheap. After checking our bags at our B&B we decide to spend a couple of hours at the outlets for some retail therapy. Because of a lengthy session at the Varvatos store, we need to call it a night after about half the stores. We'll defer the other wing to another time. Tomorrow we're off to Joshua Tree National ...

... a great photo of me in the parking lot making my "Why must I always overeat sushi?" face.

As we drove home, we saw some pretty awesome signage on the road. I love a good carwash neon sign, and there happened to be one of a cute elephant! As we got back into town, we took a detour onto the winding roads that lead up to the giant windmills. Those things are way bigger than you'd think... it was terrifying.

Then on to Palm Desert. Just a little bit southeast of Palm Springs, this community is full of flowers, roadrunners and lots of golf courses. You can see nearly endless blue sky, palms and mountains from Laura's house.

I'll be staying here with Laura for a day as we complete our preparations to travel to Europe on Tuesday.
