      ... year on this island alone. Even with a handful of salt, it makes one think. I had read in a guidebook that accident rates were shockingly high for inexperienced young tourists in Thailand. He also said that there is a taxi/songthaew cartel on the island that fixes prices etc.. Just mentioned it out of interest.

I had a look at the collection of bell tents a hundred metres away up on the hill which are to rent.       ... tanks awaiting our pleasure and their demise. Amanda has her favourite, coquilles St Jaques, stir fried. I go for deep fried squid with chilli and garlic. Both are so fresh, and a treat.
